Product Description

The GB Barrier Chip features upper and lower parallel microfluidic channels separated by a biocompatible porous flexible membrane. Different cell types can be cultured on either side of the membrane using various culture modes, enabling relatively independent cell cultivation while allowing material and signal exchange between the channels. This design constructs tissue-tissue barrier interface structures similar to those in the human body and recapitulates complex physiological interactive microenvironments in vivo.

Product Features

  • Classic sandwich structure with convenient operation.
  • Multiple membrane pore sizes and densities available to meet diverse experimental requirements.
  • Multiple fluid control modes, suitable for rapid perfusion culture and detection of different sample types including tissue blocks, cell gels, organoid droplets, and primary cells.

Applications

  • Applicable for constructing barrier-functional organ models (e.g., liver, lung, intestine, kidney, skin, blood-brain barrier, etc.).
  • Enables multi-organ co-culture for drug screening, precision medicine, toxicity testing, disease modeling, and cosmetic safety assessment.

Notes

  • For research use only. Not for diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.
  • All products undergo rigorous quality testing including sterility and performance validation.
