Product Description

The Circular Perfusion Chip consists of a central loading well and surrounding branching culture units. It can be paired with an upstream concentration gradient generator to produce different drug concentration gradients for multi-concentration drug screening. Each branching culture unit can capture and culture organoids or cell spheroids, and perfusion and vascularization are achieved through microchannels connected to the outer ring, enabling timely signal molecule transfer through adequate exchange of oxygen and nutrients.

Product Features

  • High-throughput, uniform, dynamic culture: The chip rapidly adjusts nutrition, drug concentration, and hydrodynamic environment to control cell generation processes, enabling high-throughput generation and culture of cells or organoids across multiple culture units.
  • Vascularization and nutrient exchange: The circular perfusion units promote vascularization and enable adequate oxygen and nutrient exchange through microchannels, helping simulate in vivo intercellular signal transduction and providing physiological microenvironment conditions closer to the native state.
  • Continuous perfusion generates stable fluid shear force to simulate the in vivo circulatory microenvironment.
  • High-throughput drug screening and precise evaluation: Through concentration gradient variations, the chip enables multi-concentration, multi-drug combination screening within a single experiment, greatly improving screening throughput and efficiency.
  • Scalable and flexible configuration: The chip design supports simultaneous experimentation with multiple circular perfusion units, accommodating different scales and experimental configurations.
  • Dynamic perfusion culture accelerates organoid growth (3-5x faster than static culture), shortening in vitro culture cycles to meet clinical sample drug sensitivity testing timelines.
  • Can be integrated with upstream drug concentration gradient generators and supports multiple sample types.

Applications

  • Drug screening, dose optimization, and combination therapy research.
  • Cell-drug interaction mechanism studies.
  • Tumor microenvironment simulation.
  • Development of clinical personalized treatment protocols.
