It is mainly divided into localized prostate cancer (LPC) and castration-resistant prostate cancer (CRPC).Common driver mutations include PTEN deletion, TP53 mutation, ERG fusion, SPOP mutation, and FOXA1 mutation.The prostate epithelium contains two cell types, luminal and basal. Prostate cancer organoids can reproduce the heterogeneity and tissue structure characteristics of tumors, and retain patient-specific genomic characteristics and drug responses.At present, the most commonly used is the normal human prostate and tumor organoid culture system established by Cleverers Laboratory.
