For ECM-gel Matrix (LDEV-Free) (GBOR0013)

Description

This product is LDEV-free. It is a soluble basement membrane extract derived from Engelbreth-Holm-Swarm (EHS) mouse sarcoma, rich in ECM proteins including laminin (major component), collagen IV, heparan sulfate proteoglycan, entactin/nidogen, and multiple growth factors. It improves adhesion and differentiation of normal and transformed anchorage-dependent epithelial cells and other cell types, effectively mimicking in vivo environments, suitable for both 2D and 3D cell culture applications.

Instructions

(1) Thaw the vial overnight in a 2-8°C refrigerator before use. Once thawed, swirl the vial to ensure even dispersion. Aliquot according to your usage needs, store at -20°C, and thaw on ice before subsequent use. (2) Dilute matrix gel into organoid complete medium at 50%-100% (vol/vol) for culture. (3) After plating the gel, place the 24-well plate in a 37°C, 5% CO₂ incubator in upright position for 3-5 minutes for pre-solidification, then carefully invert the plate and continue incubation for approximately 10 minutes to allow complete gel solidification. Handle gently throughout to avoid disturbing gel droplets.
